Carbon Laser Facial

Unlock the red-carpet secret to flawless, glowing skin with our Carbon Laser Facial, also known as the “Hollywood Peel” or “Carbon Laser Spectra.” This sought-after treatment provides instant skin revitalisation, reducing pore size and minimising blackheads for a clear and balanced complexion.

A specialised carbon charcoal paste penetrates deeply to absorb dirt, oils, and impurities from within the pores, then our UK manufactured, medical-grade ND Yag Laser is passed over the skin, vaporising the carbon along with the impurities it has drawn out. This gentle yet powerful process helps reduce blackheads, excessive oil, and blemishes, leaving skin visibly smoother and more refined.

As the laser interacts with the skin, it stimulates natural collagen and elastin production, which boosts skin firmness and smooths fine lines and wrinkles, while hyperpigmentation and post-acne scars also fade, revealing a balanced, glowing tone.

Our AW3 certified laser specialists are qualified to the highest level and have received direct training from the manufacturer, ensuring professional expertise and optimal results for every client.

FAQs

  • A carbon charcoal paste is applied to the skin and allowed to penetrate into the pores - this will absorb dirt, blackheads, dead skin cells, oils and debris from within the pores. The paste is then removed (vaporised) with our medical grade, UK Manufactured NDYag Laser. As the laser is passed over the skin, it breaks down the carbon and the materials that the carbon has absorbed.

  • This incredible treatment will instantly revitalise your skin – making it look and feel firmer and smother while reducing pore size, lines and wrinkles. Our laser will stimulate your skin to naturally boost new collagen and elastin production - giving you a brighter, glowing and younger-looking complexion. The treatment also reduces blackheads, blemishes and acne scars, resolving pigmentation problems and improving skin texture.

  • For optimal results, a Carbon Laser Facial is typically recommended every 2-4 weeks, depending on your skin type and goals.

This frequency allows time for skin to naturally regenerate and benefit from the boosted collagen and elastin production, while also helping to maintain clear pores, reduce oil production, and refine skin texture.

For those addressing specific concerns like acne, pigmentation, or enlarged pores, a series of treatments spaced 2-3 weeks apart is ideal initially. Once desired results are achieved, many people switch to maintenance sessions every 1-3 months to keep skin looking smooth, radiant, and youthful.

One of our specialists will help you determine the best frequency for you based on your unique skin needs.

It will also clear blocked pores which can lead to acne and will work to tighten enlarged and dilated pores.

  • No - a Carbon Laser Facial is a painless and non-invasive procedure which does not require any anaesthetic. During the treatment you may experience slight tingling and warmth on the skin whilst our laser zaps away the thin layer of carbon.

  • A Carbon Laser Facial typically takes between 45-60 minutes.

  • A Carbon Laser Facial will leave skin instantly refreshed, revitalised and glowing - with no downtime. You will be able to resume daily activities straight away. There are a few very simple aftercare instructions to follow which will help to maximise your results.

  • A Carbon Laser Facial can help improve acne scars and post-acne discoloration.

Our medical grade ND Yag Laser will stimulate collagen production - a protein that helps in the healing and regeneration of the skin. Increased collagen production can help to improve the appearance of acne scars by filling in depressions and smoothing out the skin's texture.

In addition to stimulating collagen production, the laser can target and break down excess melanin (pigment) in areas of post-acne discoloration. This can help even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of dark spots and redness.

  • A Carbon Laser Facial can help improve oily skin by targeting several underlying factors that contribute to excess oil production and skin congestion. Here's how it works:

Exfoliation and Deep Cleansing: The first step of a carbon laser facial involves applying a thin layer of medical-grade activated carbon charcoal solution to the skin's surface. This solution penetrates the pores and adheres to dirt, oil, and dead skin cells, effectively prepping the skin for treatment. When the laser is applied, it heats up and vaporises the carbon, along with the trapped impurities. This deep cleansing action helps unclog pores and remove excess oil and debris from the skin.

Sebum Regulation: Excess oil production is often caused by overactive sebaceous glands. The heat generated by the laser during the treatment can help regulate sebum production by targeting and shrinking these glands. This leads to reduced oiliness in the treated areas.

Acne and Bacterial Control: Oily skin is more prone to acne breakouts due to the accumulation of excess oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells in the pores. The carbon laser facial can effectively reduce the presence of these factors, which can lead to a decrease in acne and breakouts.

Tightening Pores: Enlarged pores are a common concern for individuals with oily skin. The laser energy can stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin, which, over time, can lead to the appearance of smaller, less visible pores.

Improvement in Skin Texture: Oily skin often has a rough and uneven texture due to the accumulation of dead skin cells and impurities. The exfoliating and resurfacing effects of the laser can lead to smoother, more refined skin.

  • A Carbon Laser Facial can be effective in improving pigmentation issues and uneven skin tone through its exfoliating, collagen-stimulating, and pigment-reducing effects. Here's how it works:

Exfoliation: The treatment begins with the application of a thin layer of medical-grade activated carbon or charcoal solution to your skin. This carbon solution penetrates the pores and adheres to dirt, oil, and dead skin cells on the skin's surface. When the laser is applied, it heats up and vaporizes the carbon, along with the trapped impurities. This deep exfoliation removes the top layer of damaged skin, where pigmentation irregularities often reside, revealing fresher and more even-toned skin underneath.

Stimulation of Collagen Production: The laser energy used in a carbon laser facial penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin. This stimulates collagen production, a protein that plays a crucial role in skin health and regeneration. Increased collagen production can help in the healing process and reduce the appearance of pigmentation irregularities, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Pigment Reduction: The laser's energy can target and break down excess melanin (pigment) in areas of hyperpigmentation, such as sunspots and age spots. By fragmenting the pigment particles, the laser encourages your body to naturally eliminate them, resulting in a more even skin tone.

Improved Texture: Uneven skin tone is often associated with rough or bumpy skin texture. The exfoliating action of the carbon laser facial can lead to smoother, more refined skin, reducing the appearance of textural irregularities.
