Permanent Lip Blush
Permanent Lip Blush enhances the natural beauty of your lips by offering a soft, sheer tint that redefines their shape and colour. This technique provides an elegant and subtle finish, looking bolder immediately after application but healing into a beautifully natural result that closely matches your natural lip colour or your favourite lipstick shade.
As we age, the lips naturally lose colour and definition, which can impact their fullness and volume. Lip Blush rejuvenates the lips by restoring their colour, adding definition to the border, and creating the appearance of plumper, more symmetrical lips. Using award-winning soft mineral pigments, our technique expertly combines shading and highlighting to enhance your lips.
Whether you're looking to add volume to thin lips, balance asymmetry, or camouflage scarring, Lip Blush provides long-lasting results tailored to your preferences. Experience fuller, more defined lips with lasting colour and volume through the expert artistry of Lip Blush at The India Gabrielle Clinic.

Permanent Makeup consultations are not mandatory before booking an appointment, except if you have had permanent makeup done by another artist in the same area you wish to treat (e.g., lips). In such cases, a face-to-face consultation is required to assess your suitability for treatment.
Face-to-face or telephone consultations are available for anyone who wishes to discuss the treatment before booking.
The first step of any new Permanent Makeup appointment includes completing a thorough medical consent form, a consultation, and a pre-drawing process. You will have the opportunity to use a handheld mirror and discuss the treatment thoroughly during this stage.
If you have any medical conditions or are taking medications that may affect the treatment, we recommend scheduling a face-to-face or telephone consultation to assess your suitability prior to booking a treatment.
Upon booking the treatment, you will receive an email with full pre- and post-treatment advice to ensure you are well prepared ahead of your treatment.

FAQs
-
Permanent Lip Blush is a cosmetic tattoo procedure where semi-permanent pigment is applied to the lips to enhance their natural colour, shape, and definition. It can create a more defined lip line, add fullness, and correct asymmetry.
-
Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. A topical anesthetic is applied before to numb the area and we work extremely lightly, ensuring a more comfortable experience.
-
There is some downtime associated with Permanent Lip Blush, though it is generally minimal.
Here’s what you can expect:
Swelling and Redness: Immediately following the procedure, your lips may appear swollen and red for a few hours to a couple of days. This is normal and temporary.
Peeling and Flaking: As your lips heal, they may begin to peel or flake, typically around days 3–5. It’s crucial not to pick at the skin to avoid scarring or uneven pigment.
Sensitivity: Your lips may feel sensitive or slightly sore for a few days post-procedure, similar to the sensation of a mild sunburn.
During the healing process, it’s recommended to avoid makeup, sun exposure, and activities such as swimming or excessive sweating. However, most clients can resume their normal routine immediately after the procedure with minimal discomfort. Full aftercare instructions will be provided to ensure optimal healing and results."
-
Permanent Lip Blush requires periodic maintenance to keep it looking fresh.
The frequency of maintenance appointments depends on several factors, including skin type and lifestyle factors.
Generally, you can expect to need a Maintenance appointment every 12 - 18 months.
Here are some key points to consider:
Skin Type: Oily skin tends to fade pigment faster than dry skin, so those with oily skin may need more frequent touch-ups.
Sun Exposure: Frequent exposure to the sun can cause the pigment to fade more quickly.
Aftercare: Proper aftercare immediately after the procedure and in the weeks following can significantly affect the longevity of the pigment. Following the your aftercare instructions is crucial.
Lifestyle: Activities such as swimming, using saunas, and engaging in activities that cause heavy sweating can accelerate the fading process.

If you currently have active cold sores, it is essential to wait until the outbreak has fully healed before proceeding with a Lip Blush procedure.
For individuals with a history of cold sores, it is recommended to take antiviral medication for one week prior to and following the procedure to minimise the risk of an outbreak.
While Lip Blush will not trigger cold sores in those who have never experienced them, individuals who are prone to cold sores and carry the herpes simplex virus dormant in their system may experience an outbreak as a result of the procedure.
