Lip Flip
A Lip Flip uses muscle-relaxing injections to subtly enhance the shape and appearance of the upper lip. Unlike Lip Fillers, which add volume, or Lip Hydration Boosters, which hydrate the lips from within, the Lip Flip focuses on relaxing the muscles around the upper lip. This relaxation creates a natural-looking lift, giving the appearance of fuller, more defined lips. By strategically relaxing these muscles, the upper lip gently rolls outward, resulting in a beautifully enhanced smile and a slightly fuller-looking upper lip. The effect is subtle, yet transformative, offering a refined, natural enhancement.

FAQs
-
Lip Flips are a quick and efficient treatment, with no need for numbing. Appointments typically take around 15 minutes - but the injections only take a few minutes.
-
The effects of Lip Flip Injections typically last between 3-6 months.
The duration can vary depending on several factors. These include your individual metabolism, the treated area, and lifestyle factors such as stress, smoking, and physical activity levels can also affect how long the results last.
-
Lip Flips are generally well-tolerated and most people experience very minimal discomfort. No anaesthetics are required. The needles used are very fine, and the treatment is quick, and any sensation typically feels like a small pinch.
-
There is little to no downtime with a Lip Flip. However, it’s important to remain upright for 5 hours after the procedure and avoid lying down or looking down at your phone, tablet, or laptop for extended periods. Activities that require bending or looking down, such as reading, gardening, shoe shopping etc. should also be avoided.
For the first 24 hours, refrain from massaging your face or engaging in any exercise. It's also recommended to avoid intense exercise for the next 3 days to ensure optimal results. Minor redness or swelling may occur but typically subsides within a few hours.
-
Some people may start to see results in as little as 2-3 days, however it can take up to 2 weeks for the treatment to start working fully.
If a top-up is needed, that can take another 2 weeks to fully start working. So if you're planning this treatment before any important events, be sure to schedule it one month in advance.
-
A complimentary review appointment is available two weeks after your initial treatment to asses your results. If required, a complimentary top-up may be provided at the practitioner's discretion, though it is not always necessary.
Returning clients generally do not need a review, as the full dose is determined and administered in prior appointments. However, if you feel a top-up is needed, please contact the clinic to book a review appointment.
