Our approach emphasises the 'less is more' philosophy, ensuring that the results are natural and fresh, with the ability to add more product as needed to achieve the desired look.

Stay Hydrated: Drink 3 litres of water in the 3 days leading up to treatment. Hydration is crucial to obtaining a good result!
Avoid Blood Thinners: Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications or supplements (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or gingko biloba) for at least 3-7 days before treatment to reduce the risk of bruising. Consult your doctor before stopping any prescription medications.
Alcohol and Caffeine: Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24-48 hours before the procedure as they can increase the risk of swelling and bruising.
Skin Health: Ensure the treatment area is free of active skin infections, cold sores, rashes, or open wounds. If you have a history of cold sores, notify your practitioner in advance.
Avoid Other Treatments: Refrain from having chemical peels, laser treatments, or other cosmetic procedures on the treatment area for at least 2-3 weeks before your session.
Plan Around Events: Schedule the treatment with enough time (at least 1-2 weeks) before any major events to allow for any potential side effects such as redness, bruising, or swelling to subside.
Wear SPF: Do use sunscreen pre-and-post treatment to protect your skin. We will not be able to treat you if you have sunburnt skin.
Arrive Makeup-Free: If possible please arrive without makeup on the area/s to be treated.
Reschedule If Unwell: You MUST be fit and well for at least 2 weeks before receiving this treatment. We cannot treat you if you are currently unwell or if you have recently been unwell. Avoid Touching the Area: Refrain from touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated area for at least 24 hours. This helps prevent infection and allows the product to settle properly.
No Makeup for 24 Hours: Avoid applying makeup or skincare products to the treated area for the first 24 hours to minimise the risk of irritation or infection.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and optimize the effects of the hyaluronic acid booster.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Refrain from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or intense exercise that causes sweating for 24-48 hours, as heat can exacerbate swelling and bruising.
Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Limit alcohol and caffeine consumption for 24-48 hours post-treatment, as they can increase swelling and delay the healing process.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning beds for at least a week after treatment. Use sunscreen with a high SPF to protect the skin and prevent pigmentation changes.
Manage Swelling and Bruising: Mild swelling, bruising, and redness are common after treatment and should subside within a few days. You can apply a sterile cold compress gently to the area to reduce swelling. Arnica cream or tablets may help speed up the healing of bruising.
No Other Treatments: Avoid any other facial treatments (such as facials, chemical peels, or laser therapy) for at least 2 weeks to allow your skin to heal properly.
Healing Process: The hyaluronic acid will gradually improve skin hydration and texture over the course of a few weeks. Multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results. Follow-up treatments will be scheduled as per your practitioner’s recommendation.

FAQs
-
Dermal Filler is a gel-like substance made primarily of Hyaluronic Acid (a naturally occurring molecule in the body) that restores volume, enhances facial contours, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
-
We only use premium Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers from trusted brands that are safe, effective, and FDA-approved. The type of filler chosen depends on the treatment area and required viscosity. We tailor our approach specifically to each client and their individual needs for the most natural and safest results.
-
Yes, Dermal Fillers can be combined with treatments like Wrinkle Relaxing Injections, Skin Boosters, or Microneedling to achieve comprehensive rejuvenation and tailored results. Our practitioners will advise you on a suitable treatment plan for your specific needs.
-
Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the treatment. A topical numbing cream is applied to numb the area before the procedure.
-
The longevity of Dermal Fillers depends many individual factors.
On average results will last between 6-12 months. However, for some people, the filler may dissolve more quickly because of their metabolism and for some people it may last longer.
We only ever use temporary hyaluronic acid based fillers for several reasons; it is the safest, looks and feels most natural and allows for adjustments and tweaks to be made over time as changes in facial structure occur and to ensure your aesthetic preferences can be accommodated in future.
-
Results are visible immediately after the treatment, although minor swelling or bruising may temporarily mask the final outcome. These effects usually subside within a few days.
-
The amount of filler required varies based on the treatment area and the desired results. During your consultation, we’ll recommend a personalised treatment plan.
-
Dermal filler treatments have little to no downtime, making them a popular choice for busy schedules. Minor side effects such as swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site may occur but typically subside quickly. Full aftercare advice, including detailed do's and don'ts, is provided after your treatment.
Most clients can return to regular activities immediately, but if you are planning this treatment before a special event or occasion, we recommend scheduling it at least one month in advance to allow time for optimal healing and results.
-
During the treatment, you may feel a slight pinch or pressure as the filler is injected. Thanks to the use of numbing cream, most clients report minimal discomfort. Post-treatment, the area may feel slightly tender or firm, but this typically resolves within a few days.
Once healed, dermal fillers feel completely natural in the treated areas. The fillers integrate seamlessly with your tissue, so you shouldn’t notice any unusual sensations. Most clients report that the area feels smooth, soft, and just like their natural skin, but with added volume or structure.
