Treatment Overview:
Client Results
Wrinkle-Relaxing Injections effectively address dynamic lines caused by facial expressions and movement, like smiling, frowning, or squinting, preventing them from becoming static wrinkles over time. For static lines (deeper wrinkles visible even at rest) this treatment softens their appearance.
Further enhance results by combining with collagen-stimulating treatments like Radiofrequency Microneedling, Laser Skin Rejuvenation, or Chemical Peels to improve skin texture, elasticity, and firmness, amplifying the smoothing effects for a youthful, rejuvenated look.
-
Forehead lines, the horizontal creases that appear across the forehead, are primarily caused by repetitive movements of the frontalis muscle. These lines often develop as a result of raising the eyebrows during expressions of surprise or curiosity and can become more prominent with age.
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections can target the frontalis muscle to relax its activity, smoothing out the horizontal lines while maintaining a natural look. This precise treatment softens the appearance of the forehead and smoothes the skin, creating a more youthful and refreshed aesthetic.
-
Frown lines in the glabellar, the area between the eyebrows, are often caused by repeated muscle movements from expressions like frowning or squinting. These vertical lines, sometimes called "11s," can create a tired or angry appearance over time.
Treatment works specifically in this area by targeting the corrugator and procerus muscles, which are responsible for creating these dynamic lines. By relaxing these muscles, it smoothes the glabellar region, resulting in a softer, more refreshed look. This treatment focuses on reducing the intensity of the lines without affecting natural expressions in the surrounding areas.
-
Crow’s feet, the fine lines that fan out from the outer corners of the eyes, are often caused by repeated muscle movements like squinting, smiling, or laughing. These lines tend to deepen over time due to natural ageing and a decrease in skin elasticity.
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections are specifically used to relax the orbicularis oculi muscle, which is responsible for these dynamic wrinkles. By reducing muscle activity in this area, it smooths the crow’s feet, softening the eye area and giving it a more rejuvenated and refreshed appearance.
-
Eyebrow Lift treatment involves relaxing specific muscles that pull the eyebrows downward, such as the depressor supercilii and orbicularis oculi muscles, while preserving or enhancing the action of muscles that lift the brows, like the frontalis. By strategically injecting Wrinkle Relaxing Injections the eyebrows are gently elevated, creating a more open and rested look. This treatment is popular for addressing mild brow droopiness caused by ageing and can also enhance the natural arch of the brows.
-
Jowls and marionette lines, which form around the jawline and corners of the mouth, can be caused by overactivity of the depressor anguli oris (DAO) muscles. These muscles pull the mouth corners downward, contributing to a sagging or aged appearance. Wrinkle Relaxing Injections weaken the DAO muscles, allowing the corners of the mouth to lift slightly and reducing the prominence of marionette lines. This treatment can also improve the overall contour of the jawline by reducing tension in the lower face, offering a subtle but significant improvement in facial balance.
-
The Nefertiti Neck Lift is named after the Egyptian queen known for her elegant, defined jawline and long neck. This treatment targets the platysma muscles, which can pull the lower face and neck downward over time. Wrinkle Relaxing Injections are administered along the jawline and neck to relax these muscles, lifting and tightening the area. The result is improved jawline definition, reduced neck bands, and a more youthful, sculpted profile. It’s an excellent non-surgical option for those seeking subtle rejuvenation of the neck and lower face.
-
Dimples in the chin or a cleft / horizontal line in the base of the chin can occur due to hyperactivity of the mentalis muscle, which causes the skin to bunch, wrinkle or cause a puckered appearance.
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections relax this muscle, smoothing out the chin area and reducing the dimpling effect. This treatment is especially effective for individuals who experience a pebbled or "orange peel" texture in the chin when speaking or smiling. Results can improve the overall contour and symmetry of the lower face. -
Bunny lines are the fine wrinkles that appear on either side of the nose when smiling or scrunching. These lines are caused by the repeated contraction of the nasalis muscle, which becomes more prominent with age or frequent facial expressions. Wrinkle Relaxing Injections into this muscle relax its activity, softening the appearance of these lines while maintaining natural facial expressions.
-
Excessive gingival display, commonly referred to as a ‘gummy smile’ where excessive gum tissue is exposed when smiling, often results from an overactive levator labii superioris alaeque nasi (LLSAN) muscle. Wrinkle Relaxing Injections relax this muscle, reducing the upward pull of the upper lip during smiling. This results in a more proportionate smile while maintaining a natural appearance.
-
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections for the masseter muscles is a versatile treatment used for both aesthetic and functional purposes. Overdeveloped masseter muscles can create a wide, square jawline, often resulting from habitual teeth grinding (bruxism) or clenching. Wrinkle Relaxing Injections relaxes these muscles, slimming the lower face and creating a more oval or heart-shaped facial contour. Functionally, it alleviates tension and discomfort associated with TMJ disorders or bruxism.
-
Reducing nostril flaring when speaking or smiling can give the appearance of a slimmer nose. Excessive nostril flaring, often due to overactivity in the dilator naris muscles, can be subtly corrected with Wrinkle Relaxing Injections. A small amount is injected into these muscles, reducing their activity and minimising the flare without affecting natural breathing. This treatment is perfect for those who are self-conscious about their nostrils widening during expressions or certain facial movements. The effect is subtle yet effective, helping to create a more balanced and harmonious nasal appearance.
-
A drooping nose tip, which can occur naturally or become more pronounced with age, is caused by the depressor septi nasi muscle pulling the tip of the nose downward. Wrinkle Relaxing Injections into this muscle relax its activity, allowing the tip of the nose to lift slightly. This creates a more refined and elevated appearance. The results are subtle yet noticeable, improving the overall balance of the nose and profile.
-
A Lip Flip is a popular treatment for enhancing the appearance of the upper lip without adding volume. By relaxing the orbicularis oris muscle around the mouth, the upper lip gently rolls outward, creating the appearance of a fuller, more defined and lifted lip - instead of adding volume with filler.
-
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections is a highly effective treatment for hyperhidrosis, a condition characterised by excessive sweating in areas like the underarms, palms or soles of the feet. By blocking the chemical signals from nerves that stimulate sweat glands, it significantly reduces sweating in the treated areas. Results can last 6-12 months, providing long-term relief and boosting confidence in social and professional settings.
-
Downturned mouth corners, often associated with a tired or sad expression, are caused by overactivity in the depressor anguli oris (DAO) muscles. These muscles pull the corners of the mouth downward, exaggerating marionette lines and giving the lower face an aged appearance.
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections into the DAO muscles relax their pulling effect, allowing the corners of the mouth to lift slightly and restoring a more neutral or positive appearance. This treatment creates a softer, more approachable look while maintaining natural expressiveness. Wrinkle Relaxing Injections for perioral lines is frequently combined with fillers to address volume loss in the lower face, or treatments like Radiofrequency Microneedling which stimulate collagen production further enhancing the overall effect.
-
Vertical lip lines, also called smoker’s lines, are the fine creases that appear above and around the lips. They are caused by repetitive puckering motions (such as smoking, drinking through straws, or speaking), natural ageing, and the gradual loss of collagen and skin elasticity. These lines can create an aged appearance or cause lipstick to bleed into the surrounding skin.
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections work by relaxing the orbicularis oris muscle, which is responsible for the repetitive movements contributing to these lines. A few carefully placed injections soften the lines, creating a smoother and more youthful appearance.
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections for smoker’s lines is often combined with dermal fillers to restore volume in the area, or collagen inducing treatments such as Radiofrequency Microneedling, further enhancing results.
The treatment is subtle, ensuring that lip movement and expressions remain natural. -
Platysmal bands are the vertical cords or ridges that become visible in the neck, especially when speaking, tightening the neck, or with age-related skin thinning.
These bands are caused by overactivity of the platysma muscle, which runs from the jawline to the upper chest and can pull the skin downward, contributing to an aged or sagging appearance in the neck.Wrinkle Relaxing Injections are strategically placed along the platysmal bands to relax the muscle, reducing their prominence and creating a smoother neck contour. This treatment is especially effective for individuals experiencing early signs of neck ageing or mild skin laxity. For enhanced results, it can be combined with other procedures, such as skin tightening treatments, to improve the jawline and overall neck aesthetics.
