Protect your skin from sun exposure by wearing sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily.
Avoid waxing, epilating, electrolysis, laser treatments or using hair removal creams on the treatment area for at least two weeks prior to the peel - to avoid irritation and increased sensitivity.
Leading up to the peel, avoid using exfoliants, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide products or products containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) for at least two weeks. Stick to a gentle skincare routine to prepare your skin.
Inform us about any health conditions or medication prior to your appointment so that we can asses your suitability for treatment.
Keep your skin well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to the peel.

It is imperative to protect your skin from UV/sun exposure by wearing sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily, even on cloudy days. Avoid direct sun exposure, sunbathing and tanning beds. If you fail to protect your skin from UV/sun exposure you will be at risk of uneven pigmentation and sunburn.
If you are going outside in the sun during the first 2 weeks post treatment, it is imperative that you take precaution to protect your skin. Keep the treated area in the shade by wearing protective baseball cap or sunhat, as well as applying sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily.
Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat for 48 hours post treatment - this includes hot baths, swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms and spa environments.
Avoid touching your skin excessively post treatment and always thoroughly wash your hands before touching your skin or applying skincare products.
Avoid applying makeup for 24-48 hours. If you wish to apply makeup after this period, ensure any applicator sponges or brushes are washed before and after every use.
Be mindful to avoid anything which may introduce bacteria to the skin - do not let pets lick your face, ensure towels and bedding are clean, regularly clean glasses/sunglasses etc.
Your skin may be more sensitive post treatment - so only use gentle skincare products as recommended by your practitioner.
Be gentle when washing your face and avoid harsh scrubbing. Use a gentle cleanser designed for sensitive skin.
For 3 days post treatment, avoid using perfumed products, exfoliants, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide products or products containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs).
You may experience some peeling as your skin undergoes the natural exfoliation process - do not pick or pull the skin. This can be relieved by applying a gentle moisturiser designed for sensitive skins.

With subsequent appointments, the duration of the Chemical Peel can be gradually increased, provided treatments are conducted regularly..
After removing the Chemical Peel solution, your practitioner will neutralise and cleanse the skin, remove any protective balms, and apply moisturiser and SPF to nourish and protect your skin. This comprehensive approach ensures your skin receives the best care before, during, and after the Chemical Peel treatment.
