Lip Hydration Booster
At The India Gabrielle Clinic, we specialise in a wide range of lip enhancement treatments, including Lip Filler, Lip Flip, Lip Blush, and our popular Lip Hydration Booster - the perfect choice for those looking to deeply hydrate their lips without altering their natural shape.
Unlike fillers, which increase volume, the Lip Hydration Booster focuses purely on nourishment and hydration, making it ideal for individuals with chapped, dry, or flaky lips. It’s also a great option for those who dislike the sensation of sticky lip balms or glosses, as it works from within to provide long-lasting moisture, eliminating the need for frequent lip product applications.
We use Seventy Hyal 2000, a premium hyaluronic acid-based skin booster. Hyaluronic acid, naturally found in the body, declines with age, leading to dryness, fine lines, and loss of elasticity. By replenishing the lips with hyaluronic acid, our Lip Hydration Booster helps restore moisture and improve texture, leaving the lips refreshed and hydrated without adding volume.
Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains water, making it especially beneficial for deep, lasting hydration. It’s like an injectable lip balm, offering a subtle, natural plumping effect while combatting the effects of aging. The result is smoother, more supple lips with long-lasting hydration - without changing the shape of your lips.

Stay Hydrated: Drink 3 litres of water in the 3 days leading up to treatment. Hydration is crucial to obtaining a good result!
Avoid Blood Thinners: Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications or supplements (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or gingko biloba) for at least 3-7 days before treatment to reduce the risk of bruising. Consult your doctor before stopping any prescription medications.
Alcohol and Caffeine: Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24-48 hours before the procedure as they can increase the risk of swelling and bruising.
Skin Health: Ensure the treatment area is free of active skin infections, cold sores, rashes, or open wounds. If you have a history of cold sores, notify your practitioner in advance.
Plan Around Events: Schedule the treatment with enough time (at least 1-2 weeks) before any major events to allow for any potential side effects such as redness, bruising, or swelling to subside.
Arrive Makeup-Free: If possible please arrive without makeup on the area/s to be treated.
Reschedule If Unwell: You MUST be fit and well for at least 2 weeks before receiving this treatment. We cannot treat you if you are currently unwell or if you have recently been unwell. This includes any type of infection or antibiotics. If this applies to you - please call the clinic as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.
-
Avoid Touching the Area: Refrain from touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated area for at least 24 hours. This helps prevent infection and allows the product to settle properly.
No Makeup for 24 Hours: Avoid applying makeup or skincare products to the treated area for the first 24 hours to minimise the risk of irritation or infection.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and optimize the effects of the hyaluronic acid booster.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Refrain from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or intense exercise that causes sweating for 24-48 hours, as heat can exacerbate swelling and bruising.
Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Limit alcohol and caffeine consumption for 24-48 hours post-treatment, as they can increase swelling and delay the healing process.
Manage Swelling and Bruising: Mild swelling, bruising, and redness are common after treatment and should subside within a few days. You can apply a sterile cold compress gently to the area to reduce swelling. Arnica cream or tablets may help speed up the healing of bruising.
No Other Treatments: Avoid any other facial treatments (such as facials, chemical peels, or laser therapy) for at least 2 weeks to allow your skin to heal properly.

-
Our Lip Hydration Booster provides deep, long-lasting moisture to the lips, improving texture and combating dryness. It also helps reduce fine lines on the lips and delivers a subtle, natural plumping effect due to its hydrating properties, making lips feel softer and more supple.
-
Seventy Hyal 2000 is a skin booster made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body. As we age, hyaluronic acid levels decrease, leading to dryness and fine lines. By replenishing the lips with this moisture-retaining ingredient, the treatment provides deep hydration and smoother lips.
-
Seventy Hyal 2000 can offer long-lasting moisture when injected in the lips, allowing clients to enjoy their enhanced lips for an extended period. The duration of the effects may vary for each individual depending on individual factors, lifestyle, and metabolism.
-
The Lip Hydration Booster is a quick and minimally invasive injectable treatment designed to enhance lip moisture, softness, and overall appearance. Here’s what the process involves:
We start with a consultation to assess your suitability for the treatment and discuss your goals before thoroughly cleansing the area and applying a topical anaesthetic to numb the area.
Seventy Hyal 2000, a bio-stimulating hyaluronic acid gel, is strategically injected into the lips using ultra fine needles. The treatment focuses on hydrating the lips rather than adding volume, ensuring a natural, refreshed look.
After the procedure, your practitioner will provide guidance on aftercare. Temporary redness, swelling, or sensitivity may occur but usually subside within a few days.
You can expect softer, more hydrated lips, typically lasting several months.
-
A Lip Hydration Booster appointment takes approximately 45-60 minutes. This includes time for:
A Consultation to discuss your goals and ensure suitability for the treatment.
Time for numbing to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.
A detailed explanation of aftercare and time for any questions you may have.
-
There is minimal downtime with this treatment. You may experience slight redness, swelling, or tenderness around the lips immediately after the procedure.
These effects are temporary and usually subside quickly. Most clients can resume their normal activities the same day. However, it is recommended to:
Avoid vigorous exercise for at least 24 hours.
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, or other environments with excessive heat.
Full pre and post treatment advice will be provided and thoroughly explained to ensure the best results and recovery experience.
-
The procedure is designed to be as comfortable as possible. A numbing cream is applied to reduce any discomfort. You may feel a slight pinch or pressure during the injections, but this is generally well-tolerated. After the treatment, your lips may feel slightly tender or swollen, but this is temporary and quickly fades.
