Eyelash Enhancement
A Permanent Eyelash Enhancement subtly enhances the appearance of your eyelashes by implanting pigment into the skin between the lashes, creating a natural and beautiful look.
This treatment creates the illusion of a thicker row of lashes, darkens light-colored or sparse eyelashes, and makes the lash line appear fuller and more voluminous.
The contrast of the black pigment can make the whites of your eyes look brighter and add a sparkle to your eyes. Perfect for anyone seeking a low-maintenance beauty routine, this enhancement accentuates the natural shape of your eyes, giving them more definition and depth.

Permanent Makeup consultations are not mandatory before booking an appointment, except if you have had permanent makeup done by another artist in the same area you wish to treat (e.g., eyes). In such cases, a face-to-face consultation is required to assess your suitability for treatment.
Face-to-face or telephone consultations are available for anyone who wishes to discuss the treatment before booking.
The first step of any new Permanent Makeup appointment includes completing a thorough medical consent form, a consultation, and a pre-drawing process. You will have the opportunity to use a handheld mirror and discuss the treatment thoroughly during this stage.
If you have any medical conditions or are taking medications that may affect the treatment, we recommend scheduling a face-to-face or telephone consultation to assess your suitability prior to booking a treatment.
Upon booking the treatment, you will receive an email with full pre- and post-treatment advice to ensure you are well prepared ahead of your treatment.

Full details of pre and post treatment advice will be sent via email upon booking.

FAQs
-
A Permanent Eyelash Enhancement involves tattooing pigment between each eyelash to subtly define the lash line. This treatment is more understated than a Permanent Eyeliner, achieving a more natural and effortlessly beautiful look.
-
Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. A topical anesthetic is applied before to numb the area and India Gabrielle works extremely lightly, ensuring a more comfortable experience.
-
India Gabrielle sets aside approximately 2.5 hours for upper eyelash enhancement appointments and 3 hours for upper and lower eyelash enhancement appointments. This timeframe includes completing medical consent forms, a detailed consultation, pre-drawing and numbing, as well as the procedure itself.
Maintenance treatments do not take as long as initial appointments. The duration depends on how long it has been since your previous appointment. Details can be found on our booking page.
-
As with any cosmetic procedure, there are some downtime and aftercare considerations.
Right after a Permanent Eyelash Enhancement procedure, the treated area may appear swollen and red. This is normal and typically lasts for a couple of days. Clients are provided with aftercare advice on how to reduce swelling. The quicker you can reduce the swelling - the better your pigment retention will be.
The Eyelash Enhancement will go through a healing process, which includes:
Day 1-3: Swelling and redness are most prominent.
Day 4-7: Scabbing may occur as the skin heals. It is normal to experience flaking, redness, tenderness, dryness, aching, swelling.
Week 2-4: The pigment might appear lighter, faded or uneven as the skin heals and regenerates. This is completely normal at this stage. The final “healed” colour will not be visible for 6-8 weeks following your initial treatment.
Total Recovery Time: Complete healing can take up to 6-12 weeks depending on how quickly your body heals and is dependent on following the aftercare advice. During this period, the true colour of the Eyeliner will gradually appear as the skin fully heals.
-
Permanent Eyelash Enhancements require periodic maintenance to keep it looking fresh.
The frequency of maintenance appointments depends on several factors, including skin type and lifestyle factors.
Generally, you can expect to need a Maintenance appointment every 1 to 3 years.
Here are some key points to consider:
Skin Type: Oily skin tends to fade pigment faster than dry skin, so those with oily skin may need more frequent touch-ups.
Sun Exposure: Frequent exposure to the sun can cause the pigment to fade more quickly.
Aftercare: Proper aftercare immediately after the procedure and in the weeks following can significantly affect the longevity of the pigment. Following the your aftercare instructions is crucial.
Lifestyle: Activities such as swimming, using saunas, and engaging in activities that cause heavy sweating can accelerate the fading process. Tears will also accelerate the fading process.
