Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Transform your skin with our advanced Laser Skin Rejuvenation treatments, powered by medical-grade Super Intense Pulsed Light (SIPL) technology from the globally acclaimed AllWhite Laser AW3®. This UK-manufactured system delivers precise pulses of light into the upper layers of your skin, triggering your natural healing process to boost collagen and elastin production.

The treatment gently breaks down excess melanin in pigmented areas, effectively improving hyperpigmentation, sunspots, and other discolouration while also reducing the appearance of thread veins and redness. By stimulating increased collagen and elastin, it refines skin pores, plumps, and rejuvenates the skin, to reduce lines and wrinkles to restore a youthful, radiant and more even-toned complexion.

  • A Consultation and Patch Test is required at least 48 hours before any Laser Skin Treatment. During this session, we’ll review your medical history, assess your suitability for treatment, explain the process in detail, and provide guidance on how to prepare for treatment, along with essential aftercare tips. This is also a great time to ask any questions you may have, so you feel fully informed and confident before beginning your treatment journey with us.

Please arrive for your Consultation and Patch Test with a clean, makeup-free face to allow an accurate assessment of your skin type.

The session lasts about 30 minutes, and treatment cannot proceed until this has been completed.

    • If you have been using a high or prescription strength Retinol - please inform the clinic as soon as possible.

    Alcohol, Caffeine and Smoking:

    • Ensure you are well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water and eating well before your treatment.

    Other Preparations:

    • Have a sterile cold compress ready at home for post-treatment care.

    • Inform your practitioner of any changes to your medical history or any upcoming or recent aesthetic, medical, or beauty treatments on the area to be treated.

    • Aloe Vera Gel: Use 99.9% Pure Aloe Vera Gel immediately after treatment and for a few days afterward if necessary. Only use the product purchased from the clinic, as other products may contain ingredients that irritate the skin.

    • Sun Protection: Protect the treated area from sun/UV exposure for at least 6 weeks post-treatment. The skin should remain fully covered during healing, and afterward, apply a SPF 30+ sunscreen whenever exposed to sunlight.

    • Sunbeds and Sunbathing: You must avoid sunbeds and sunbathing for at least 6 weeks following your treatment.

    • Medications: Do not take anti-inflammatory medications like Ibuprofen or Aspirin for 7 days post-treatment. Paracetamol and antihistamines may be taken within recommended guidelines if needed.

    • Heat Exposure: For 48 hours post-treatment, avoid hot showers, hot baths, steam rooms, saunas, and strenuous exercise. These can aggravate the treated area and delay healing.

    • Avoid Water Exposure: Keep the treated area dry for the first 24-48 hours.

    • Perfumed Products: Avoid using perfumed lotions, shower gels, or creams on the treated area until it has fully healed. Only use Aloe Vera Gel recommended by the clinic.

      • Do not touch, pick, or scratch the treated area, including any scabbing or blistering.

    • Hydration and Rest: Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, and ensure you get ample rest after your treatment to aid recovery. Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours.

    • Alcohol and Smoking: Alcohol and smoking can delay the healing process, so it is advised to avoid during your healing period.

    • Warmth, redness, swelling, itching, irritation, and tenderness: These symptoms are normal and may occur immediately or a few days after treatment.

FAQs

  • The number of sessions needed for Laser Acne Treatment varies from person to person and depends on several factors, including:

    • The severity and type of acne.

    • Your skin type and overall skin condition.

    • How well your skin responds to treatment.

Other factors, such as hormonal changes, diet, alcohol consumption, stress, and skincare routine can also contribute to the development and recurrence of acne. Adopting a healthy lifestyle and protecting your skin from known triggers can help improve and maintain treatment results.

It’s important to note that multiple treatments are often necessary to achieve the desired results and maintain them over the long term. Appointments are typically scheduled at least 4 weeks apart to allow the skin adequate time to heal and to optimise treatment outcomes.

While we strive to provide the best possible results, the exact number of sessions required cannot be guaranteed, nor can we ensure complete removal of acne. Each individual’s skin responds uniquely to treatment, and outcomes will vary.

  • Yes, you can combine Laser Acne Treatment with other professional treatments to optimise results. However, it’s essential to allow sufficient time between treatments to ensure proper healing and avoid overloading the skin. Here are some complementary treatments we offer for acne concerns:

    • Salicylic Acid Chemical Peel: A professional-grade peel designed to target acne and help unclog pores.

    • Medium Strength Acne Peel: A slightly more potent peel for stubborn acne concerns.

    • Carbon Laser Facial: A treatment that targets acne, reduces oil production, and improves overall skin tone and texture.

Once your acne has cleared, we offer additional treatments to address post-acne concerns, such as:

    • Radiofrequency Microneedling and Microneedling: These treatments help reduce the appearance of post-acne discolouration and scarring.

    • Injectable Skin Boosters (e.g., Seventy Hyal 2000): These provide hydration and rejuvenation to improve skin texture and elasticity.

Our practitioners will work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan and advise on the best combination of treatments for your skin type and concerns.

  • Laser Acne Treatment works by using targeted Super Intense Pulsed Light technology to address the root causes of acne. Here's how it works:

    • Targeting Acne-Causing Bacteria: Super IPL emits light at specific wavelengths that penetrate the skin and target Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) bacteria, helping to reduce acne breakouts by eliminating the bacteria responsible for inflammation.

    • Controlling Sebum Production: The treatment also reduces the activity of overactive sebaceous glands, decreasing oil production and preventing clogged pores.

    • Improving Skin Tone and Texture: Super IPL stimulates collagen production and promotes skin renewal, which can help reduce post-acne scarring, discoloration, and uneven skin tone.

    • Minimising Redness and Inflammation: The light energy works to calm redness and inflammation associated with acne, giving the skin a clearer and more even appearance.

The treatment is non-invasive and can be customised to suit your skin type and acne severity. While results can vary, it is an effective option for managing acne and improving overall skin health. Multiple sessions are typically required to achieve the best results, with appointments spaced a few weeks apart to allow for healing. Your practitioner will create a customised treatment plan based on your skin type and acne severity.

  • Treatments must be spaced a minimum of at least 4 weeks apart.

  • This treatment is not painful, most clients generally report a sensation of warmth during the treatment.

  • It depends on the size of the area and how many areas you have treated. Your practitioner will advise you during your consultation as to how long each appointment is likely to take.

  • No - all traces of tanning products must be removed from the treatment area before your laser session. This includes all fake tanning agents, gradual tanning moisturisers, oils and lotions. This is because fake tan acts as pigmentation on the skin - which could cause complications with your treatment.

Fake tan can be worn in between sessions but on the day of your treatment, your skin needs to be clear.

You can use self tan on other body areas - you just need to avoid your desired treatment area.
